 Overview |
|
- New enrollment is capped at 50 students per academic year.
- Four-semester Master of Arts program of study with a major in one of two departments:
a. English Language Teaching
b. ELT Materials Development
- All applicants will undergo the same screening procedure regardless of nationality or country of residence.
- IGSE policy provides that, in addition to the regular enrollment, additional enrollment of up to 10% of the quota is available for foreign applicants. Definitions of nationality and country of residence for foreign applicants are based on IGSE policy. |

Why IGSE? |
|
- All students receive full tuition waivers for the entire duration of their degree program (4 semesters).
- 10 hours per week per semester dedicated to English conversation and writing (Students with native-like English fluency will be waived from class attendance.).
- Overseas seminar during semester break of second year of program (optional; expenses partly paid by IGSE)
- IGSE supports excellent graduates who are admitted to doctor's degree programs at major universities overseas. |

Eligibility Requirements |
|
- Applicants must have a bachelor's degree. Those who are expected to graduate by August 2009 are eligible.
Alternatively, applicants must have an equivalent degree authorized by law.
- Admission will be cancelled if an applicant fails to graduate by the appropriate deadline.
- Degrees in any major field of study are eligible.
- Students are not allowed to attend another M.A. degree course while enrolled at IGSE. |

Applicants must pass the 1st stage to enter the 2nd stage. Individual scores in the 1st stage will not be reflected on the 2nd stage score.
There will be a written test for EMD applicants. |

- Acceptance or enrollment to IGSE may be revoked if any of the applicant's documents necessary for enrollment are found to contain falsities.
- Once submitted, the application package will not be returned and will not be accessible by the applicant. Unless otherwise noted, fees are not refundable.
- In case IGSE is not able to reach the applicant during the screening process, due to a change of contact number or address, IGSE will not be responsible for any consequences or disadvantages on the applicant's part.
Any points not described above will be decided by the IGSE Admission Committee. |
