Hyeokjae Educational Foundation
The late Chairman Yoon Kyun, the founder and CEO of Hyundai English Co., Ltd., established the non-profit educational foundation, Hyeokjae Academy, with the aim of giving back to society. He intended to contribute to the field of language education using the profits earned from his English education business. The establishment of this educational foundation was approved by the Minister of Education and Human Resources on July 9, 2001.
International Graduate School of Language Education (IGSE)
Hyeokjae Academy, guided by its founding philosophy, received establishment approval from the Ministry of Education and Human Resources in May 2002 and inaugurated the International Graduate School of English that September. Initially offering courses in English Teaching and Materials Development, it later expanded to Korean-English and Korean-Vietnamese Interpreting and Translation. By September 1, 2023, it rebranded as the International Graduate School of Language Education, focusing on producing global talents for leadership in the international sphere.
